About Us:

iKamper believes that the best times are those spent traveling, discovering, and enjoying the outdoors with those you love most. Our award-winning products have propelled us to incredible global growth in the past 3 years, and we just opened our US headquarters in Seattle in May 2019. This May we will be moving into our new home in Kent: a 10,500 sf warehouse/showroom/office.

About this Role:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for running iKamper's warehouse, working independently without direct supervision in a fast-paced environment. iKamper strives for excellence in all facets of its business: product development, customer service, and warehouse management as well. A clean, well-organized warehouse able to ship orders as quickly and safely as possible is key to the best customer experience. Along with a love for traveling and the outdoors, you will bring passion for hard work and improvement. iKamper is rapidly growing: succeed in this role and continue to grow with us.

What You'll Do:

  • Plan and coordinate the shipping of iKamper products (picking, order assembly, BOL preparation, pickup scheduling)
  • Coordinate the receiving of inventory (containers from our production facility in Korea)
  • Maintain warehouse inventory
  • Aid in the implementation of an industry-leading WMS system, and be the company's system expert
  • Inspire your team to deliver exceptional results
  • Prepare and give detailed data-driven business reports
  • Lead the warehousing and logistics team, once members are added
  • Operate and maintain warehouse machinery and tools (including forklift)
  • Effectively communicate with the customer service and sales teams
  • Maximize productivity, profitability, and constantly strive for improvement
  • Offer unique and innovative solutions to each problem
  • Learn, grow, and progress within the company

Requirements:

  • Passionate, self-motivated, and positive
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Active lifestyle, interested in the outdoors (preferably in overlanding)
  • 3+ years in a warehouse management role with experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, order fulfillment and freight management
  • OSHA forklift certification, ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 100lbs)
  • Be comfortable working in a position that requires prolonged standing and frequent bending
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong problem-solving and relationship management skills

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Full-time, competitive salary based on experience
  • Career development opportunities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation
  • 30% off iKamper gear
  • Friendly and fun work atmosphere: show up on time, do a good job, get along with others at the office. That's about it.

HOW TO APPLY:

  • NOTE: iKamper USA headquarters are currently located downtown Seattle, but we are in the process of moving to Kent in May 2020 to a larger location (offices, showroom, warehouse). Having your own transportation is a must.
  • Submit a cover letter describing your fit for the position along with a resume detailing your previous experience relating to this role to info@ikamper.com. We will contact you via email if we feel it is a good fit.
